Now that my Photo 2 class has wrapped up, I’ve taken on a new CREATE project, knitting.
I’ve started to knit multiple times in the past, but have never taken a class nor a lesson. I decided that if I *really* want to learn, I need to do something a little more formal. So I stopped by Needle Nook and asked for some guidance. I was sent home with yarn and needles and told to practice casting on and knitting. After a weekend of practice, I returned for a formal lesson.
More yarn, more needles. And a new project, a hat! Seemed awfully ambitious for me, who still drops stitches and has lots of mistakes, but why not? What have I got to lose?
So we cast on 88 stitches, and now I’m knitting and purling the brim.
