Not Camille is interested in the language arts, Chloe is too.
A few years back, Chloe decided to enter the LEAF poetry slam. As it was for teens, she was asked to be the “calibration poet”. Since then, she’s gotten more interested in writing poems for poetry slams, and this spring tried out for her school’s poetry slam. She was selected to participate! Unfortunately, I was out of town during the slam, but Rob took a little video:
Back at LEAF this spring, Chloe again chose to participate in the teen Poetry Slam, despite being 11 years old and under the age requirements.
What it must take to get up on the stage and perform original pieces when all the other people are much older!
