As Gazoo’s birthday was just two days ago, today was her annual checkup. See how excited she is to go? She tried to hide, but she really isn’t all that bright.
I don’t love our vet, but they are convenient and have never done anything that worries me, so we keep going … once a year. Gazoo hates going. Riding in the car doesn’t bother her much at all. What she hates is hearing the dogs barking. She just can’t stand it. Her breath rate goes up. She panics, even hissing at me, her safety person. And the stool sample? I think I’ll refuse to even let them try to get one in the future. It is NEVER successful and upsets her terribly. The shots are annoying, but she puts up with them.
In the end, she was declared perfectly healthy. I hope we don’t need to take her back again until her next birthday. What a birthday gift, huh>
