When Gazoo walked in the door and made herself at home in our house at the end of October of 2007, we had no idea where she came from or how old she was, though it was obvious she was pretty young. We took her off to the vet, who said she was about four months old. Along with giving this new kitty a name, we also have her a birthday!
After a little bit of debate, the girls settled on the Fourth of July for her birthday. So yesterday, in addition to celebrating the fourth, we also celebrated Gazoo’s birthday with a bit of a party. Gazoo got “special food” and a new catnip ball as her special treats. I don’t think she cared too much for her cake nor for the fireworks that we set off in her honor.
