I can’t remember when I first wanted one. Probably even in our pervious house. But it never moved high on my wish list. Then we watched a few episodes of “Good Luck Charlie” on Disney — the family in that show has a refrigerator door covered with pretty notes and decorations. Then, we recently stayed with two different set of friends who had one … My wish moved to the top of the list, and Rob made it happen. A chalkboard wall for us to write notes on, color and decorate! Hooray!!
I hope that I will be able to not just use it for chores lists but also to be creative every so often. I hope to be able to pick up some chalk and relax for a few moments. I hope the kids will too.
