I can’t remember ever feeling like this. Usually, by January 6th I am more than ready to be done with Christmas and to get rid of the tree and pack away all of the Christmas decorations, but this year, this year I am just not ready for it! The tree is gone, and I miss it. The decorations are boxed up, and the house feels empty without them. I did request that the icicle lights stay up for a few more weeks. As each afternoon grows dark, I look forward to the timer turning on the outdoor lights. They brighten my days, so they stay.
