knitting: project 3 complete!
It has been a couple of months since I finished my second hat. Why did it take me so long to finish the third hat? Oh well, I’m not knitting to be speedy but to have a way to relax.
create: an update on 2016.
My theme for 2016 is CREATE. I haven’t quite made as much progress as I would have liked, but I am making progress…. For photography, I have taken a few classes, purchased a new lens, and was doing well at taking more interesting photos until I took my break (after spring break). For cooking, I’ve
knitting: project 2 complete!
A few weeks ago I finished my first knitting project of this year, and just yesterday I finished my second one! It is another hat, just like the other one, but much, much better. Many fewer mistakes. And using smaller needles for the brim really helped. I guess next week I have to go back

Other Hobbies
Not much time to write here as I’ve been concentrating on some other projects: reading Don Quioxte, learning to draw, studying French, coming up to speed on being the president of our village neighborhood association (including revamping the website), preparing for next year’s homeschooling, starting to knit and more….
