Today is Learn What Your Name Means Day and National Grammar Day and National Pound Cake Day.
Up early to work. Suze and Phil went to get bagels from the conference. I went to an IBM talk, then we drove to Graceland and took a tour. We had lunch at Rockabilly’s, but they were out of grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches. On the way back to the hotel, we took a drive through Rhodes College. I worked a bit more at the hotel while Barbara went to a meeting. In the evening, we walked over to the Bass Pro Shop (through a parking garage, over the tracks), then to Westy’s for dinner. The food took so long that I was half-asleep before eating a bit of dinner.
