Today is Iced Tea Day and Ball Point Pen Day.
Up early to take care of things before heading out for bagels. We then took the subway to the “top” of Manhattan to visit The Cloisters. It was a lovely walk though Fort Tryon park to get to the museum. Camille enjoyed the collection as well as the courtyards and setting. We then took the train back down and walked across Central Park to The MET. We were both starving by then, so splurged on lupper in the cafeteria before exploring the museum. From there, we walked down th park a bit, stopping to sit and relax for a while before going to the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art for the opening of “Point of Vision: Celebrating Women Artists in Fantasy in Science Fiction”. By the time we left, we were exhausted and ready to get back to Brooklyn for an “early” (8pm) night.
