Today is National Nothing Day and International Hot & Spicy Food Day and Appreciate a Dragon Day and National Fig Newton Day.
Up early to tackle to usual and to unpack (so I could repack a little better). I left a little late for my photography class at Showcase, but got there on time anyway. The teacher doesn’t really fit my style, but I learned a lot anyway. From there I raced to Target to pick up a free last minute things for the trip, like gloves for Camille, then to the gym for a short workout. At home, I walked the dog, repacked, and worked.
Then off to the high school to get Camille, work a little more, and off to MARTA. Camille couldn’t find her Breeze card, so we ended up running late. Thankfully the TSA Precheck line moved fast and Camille had been assigned a seat – an exit row seat. Once at JFK, we got a taxi – who didn’t know how to get to Brooklyn, sigh. At the apartment, we met the owner and our new kitty and quickly settled in. Camille and I were hungry, so we found both a gourmet grocery store and a pizza place.
