happiness project: exercise (aug) + misc
Empower and Energy, Project 44 and the monthly projects in my Happiness Project … so many projects! In reality, they are all facets of the same project, guiding me to finish or give up old projects and move forward on the ones that are most important to me.
July’s main theme was Career. Though I have yet to write my resume, my plan is that each year in July I update my resume, look into courses related to my work, clean up my LinkedIn space, and so on. This past month, I downloaded the videos from a Coursera class on career and resume building and will work through it soon.
August:
August’s main theme is “Exercise”. This month I plan to make exercise a bigger part of my daily routine, from the small things (like taking the stairs) to bigger things like re-starting a weight training program.
Other smaller projects I want to work on include sorting out my leggings and skirts, updating the girls’ medical folders, organizing my iTunes, and starting to work on the kitchen “renovation”.
As usual, whatever doesn’t get done gets cycled back into the plan at a later date. I’ve crossed off a number of ongoing projects in the past month, and I look forward to getting more things organized and done as well as progressing in the longer-term projects.
