Happiness Project: Mindfulness Practice Week 3

The new “habits” list I found is 25 Habits Of People Who Are Happy, Healthy & Successful.

I considered items 1 & 2 a couple weeks ago.

The third item is:
3. They go by a routine and make exercise a part of it. It takes practice to develop healthy habits and stick with them. Once you do, your internal foundation will be strong.
And there’s a big challenge for me. Developing and sticking to healthy habits. I’m doing better at this, but will work even harder this week to exercise every day and eat better than I have been eating. The chapter in Living the Good Long Life that I am reading right now is all about eating well. I know how I should be eating, but I haven’t been doing so well at following through on it. I need to set aside time for planning and preparation. When I feel low, I don’t have the energy to plan or cook and I go for the easy and not so healthy. I do believe planning is the key here.
