Generally, when people think of stone outcrops in Atlanta, they think of Stone Mountain. But our favorite outcrop? Much less famous, but one of our favorite places to go, is the Davidson-Arabia Nature Preserve.
While my favorite time to go is during the spring when the mountain looks like a magical wonderland, I love to go at any time.
This time, we went with friends and explored a new section of the park. And the puppy came too! The trail we chose this time wasn’t very well marked, but getting lost on the outcrop would be quite hard to do. I need to make sure we get back out there on a regular basis!
