While I was at my sickest with the flu from which I’m still trying to recover, I wrote about twenty extremely awesome blog posts in my head. I had come up with a great post on parenting, another questioning the way the mind works and a series of amazing posts. As I recovered and could finally sit at a computer again, I desperately tried to recall all those wonderful words that I had strung together. Either I have a terrible memory, of the fever deluded me into thinking what I was writing in my head was way more eloquent than it actually was.

As I’ve struggled to get better, I’ve not been able to find the time or energy to write much at all. As for my symptoms, my cough seemed to finally taper off early this week and my voice is slowly returning. But tired, oh I’m so tired. I am finding it hard to have the energy to get through work and all the activities we have scheduled. I’m hoping that by the end of this weekend I will be close to back to normal.

In order to keep myself on track and to inspire myself to sit down and write, I’ve signed up for NaBloPoMo. Hoping this will be a healthy month here in the GooneyBird household.
