Today I graduated (hum along) from Decatur 101 …. but yet I am still having a hard time with living here in Decatur despite having submitting myself to the indoctrination. My Pine Lake is *home* to me. Every time I drive into the tiny city, from my first entry in 2007 until today, the little city cries “You are home!!”

It wasn’t an easy choice to give up my beloved Pine Lake. But ,alas, Decatur offers our family things we can’t resist. The schools may not be perfect, but there are accessible administrators. While in Pine Lake I quickly knew every city employee, here in Decatur, we have this class. And we meet some of the people…but not all.

I’m missing my beloved Pine Lake, but trying to figure out how best to find a place in our new city.
