Back in 2003 when we first met Ralph, Camille was 4.5 and Chloe was 6 months old, sleeping in the sling. I had a cell phone, but it didn’t take photos and certainly not videos. I can’t remember if I had a digital camera at that point, but I still relied on my SLR film camera to take my “good” photos. I didn’t have much of a blog, though I had been writing daily entries online for years already. Facebook? huh? And Ralph was the only kindie musician that we knew. And we loved him.
Fast-forward EIGHT years. Film? What’s that? Phone? Well, I guess it makes calls, but that rectangle from Apple in my pocket not only takes photos. It takes videos, it surfs the web, it twitters and facebooks too. We know many, many great kindie musicians now, thanks to our work on Gooney Bird Kids. Even with all the advances, we still love Ralph….
