As we sit here in the hotel in New Orleans (it is pouring at the moment and we are waiting for my mom to get back from her conference reception), the girls are zoning out to Hannah Montana and I’m looking through photos form our past few weeks.
Two weekends ago we were at the beach. Last weekend we went to DC and stayed with friends on their farm.
What struck me as I went through the photos from today, I found it humorous to see that today we combined the beach with staying with friends on a “farm”. Our friends in Mississippi live a few blocks from the beach on a large plot of land where they have a huge garden and chickens. Camille was thrilled to be able to *finally* be able to hug a chicken! (Who knows.)
