for our upcoming weekend at LEAF, we splurged on a new tent. Last fall when I took the girls to LEAF without Rob, the three of us barely fit in our old wedding present tent. And the rain, oh the rain, came splashing in on us. So I had Rob buy a new, bigger tent for our upcoming weekend in the mountains. This new tent is a tent akin to the one that the Weasleys brought to the World Cup. While it doesn’t have a kitchen, it approaches mansion status. It has a chandelier! And automatic windows! A screened in porch. And a side door on a hinge.

Chloe has fallen in love with this tent. She uses it as a “playhouse” during the day. And has slept in it for the past three nights. But, no, not alone. And since Rob has been traveling, guess who has been the lucky one to sleep with her out in the tent the past three nights. When there’s a nice soft bed just feet away. And big, stressful deadlines at work.

Rob gets home from traveling in an hour. And I told him to be sure to pick up some advil on his way home, because guess who is NOT sleeping in the tent tonight.
