go ahead, say it. “I told you so” or “well, duh!” As I wrote about a month ago in the turtle is hibernating, I’ve been trying to get on the treadmill every day. I had gotten up to an hour, but at a low rate. Any faster and my shins would hurt. Then three weeks ago, something happened to my back and I could barely move.

Shoes I’m back up to my hour now. But I think I can now go a little faster. The difference? SHOES!!! Yes, all that time I had ben walking BAREFOOTED (or sometimes in my Keens). I suppose that was not good at all for my joints. (Duh.)

But, you’ll have to understand, that finding shoes that fit my 9.5-10 EE feet is just not an easy thing to do. Last month, I ordered a pair from Zappos which turned out to be too small. But Zappos paid the return shipping and gave me expiited shipping on my new pair.

So now I’m walking in comfort in my new pair of New Balance sneakers!!!
