Despite how not-so-good our feelings about Chloe’s school are at the moment, we are doing our best to participate in “Teacher Appreciation Week”. I’m not feeling very appreciative tight now, but don’t feel like we have any choice but to feign appreciation. At least the leftover flowers look nice on my table.

This morning, the girls followed the boys on the farm around on their morning chores. I just took photos and ate what they gathered…. fresh eggs and veggies along with yogurt made from milk from the goat.

A number of our plants did survive our long absence from home. The petunias survived and are now started to flourish with the watering attention form the girls. Petunia — reminds me that the last Harry Potter movie will soon be released…. !

Our porch, with its new furniture and plants, was a wonderful place for us to hang out and work all week! Hopefully the weather will not get to hot yet and we can get another week of outdoor living before we have to retreat inside to the AC.
