As I ran into Kroger to “pick up a few things” — what day do I *not* run into the store to pick up a few things? — I saw gorgeous sunflowers at a gorgeous price. I hoped that the cool temps of the day would make it so they would not die before I got home seven hours later. I think I took a good chance. They look lovely on my table.
