Labor Day — I’m not sure anyone has great ideas on how we should celebrate this special day. It isn’t a patriotic day, it is to celebrate the worker and the unions that support our workers. But somehow, it has come to mean the last day of summer. Cookouts, no more white shoes/pants., etc.
I made this potato salad using the mint and oregano from our garden — planted by my friend Ann who was the former owner of my house…. and the mint has a long, lovely history.
