This week in our Arabian Adventures:
Friday 12/8:
The weather report called for snow, so I prepped the dog and me to go out to the Arabia lot to see. When we got there, it was mostly sleeting, not snowing, and not sticking. We walked over to the lake, then went off-path up and around to the outcrop. It was a nice area that I had not really explored before. And we spotted baby diamorpha!! Phelix and I both were soaked by the time we got back to the car. Unfortunately, the snow was not sticking.
Saturday 12/9:
When I woke, there was still snow on the ground and snow falling from the sky, so I prodded Rob and Chloe to get up and get going. We finally left for the mountain around 7:45. There was much less snow out at the mountain than in Decatur, but it was fun to see the little snow that there was. We took a short walk over to the lake then to Phelix’s Glade.
