happiness project: exercise
Thrive, Project 46, and the monthly projects in my Happiness Project … so many projects! In reality, they are all facets of the same project, guiding me to finish or give up old projects and move forward on the ones that are most important to me.
July’s main theme was Career. My plan is that each year in July I update my resume, look into courses related to my work, clean up my LinkedIn space, and so on. I didn’t get any of that done this past month, but I have made a new plan, and I’m hoping that I will have the space to move forward on it.
August:
August’s main theme is “Exercise”. This month I plan to return to making exercise a bigger part of my daily routine. I plan to exercise every day and return to the gym, starting with the treadmill and moving on to strength training. I will also continue with my tai-chi and add in more stretching to hopefully improve my flexibility.
Other smaller projects I want to work on include sorting out my leggings and skirts, updating the DecaturSquared website, and cleaning the living room. As usual, whatever doesn’t get done gets cycled back into the plan at a later date. I’ve crossed off a number of ongoing projects in the past month, and I look forward to getting more things organized and done as well as progressing in the longer-term projects.
