As part of my “figuring out what comes next” project, I signed myself up to attend TEDxPeachtree. Easy to sign up, but when the time approached, I got more and more nervous. How was I going to make it through the whole day? What could I possibly have to say to strangers when we met?
But the time came, I went, and I enjoyed myself. I saw people that I already knew, met new people, and never felt that I had nothing to add to the conversation. It was quite a confidence booster! I learned about things I had never considered. I am more aware of issues that I was already familiar with. And I was inspired.
