Yes, I do. I wasn’t born here. I wasn’t educated here. And I likely will not die here. But I live here. And my girls have been educated here (even when we were homeschooling — this is where we came for classes).

I am a huge fan of urban living. A pedestrian lifestyle with many choices of events, restaurants, advanced medical availability, volunteer opportunities, and educational choices. A city. I don’t think I could live off in the moutains or in a rural place.

On the other hand, I like having a strong sense of community.

This week has been a great illustration of that. I volunteered at the Book Fest. People come from far away, yet as I VOLUNTEER, I run across neighbor after neighbor. I went to my guitar lesson — across the street from the HIGH SCHOOL where both my girls are studying (and can walk to as well…). I then went to Kroger — ran into friends and Kroger employees who know me and ask about me. It’s a nice feeling — to be recognized.

My ideal location? A town like this — but 20 degrees cooler…..
