Today is National Night Out and Friendship Day and Sisters’ Day and National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.
Up before 6 to make breakfast for the girls, clean, and take care of all the things around the house. I was finally ready to work around 8. I worked, exercised, and then read some of my New Yorker in the afternoon. After school, Camille and I bought poetry slam tickets, then Chloe and I made banana kefir smoothies for a snack, smashed potatoes and sausage for dinner, granola bars for Wednesday, and homemade bread. After dinner, Chloe and I went to Target for school supplies and some groceries. Chloe made cookies for ice cream sandwiches.
