Today is National Girlfriends Day and National Raspberry Cream Pie Day and Lughnasadh.
Up at 5am to get the kids ready for school and made a banana chia “pudding” for the girls. After an hour of chores, I sat down to work. The girls left for their first day. Mid-morning, I went to the gym, then read for a while. The cleaners came at 2pm, so I hid in the office with the dog and worked. Chloe went to her guitar lesson after school; the girls came home while the cleaners were still here, adding to the complications. As soon as the cleaners left, I start all the cooking. We had a nice meal at the table, then a long family meeting, then some errands and more cleaning.
