As I mentioned in photo friday: queens museum, Camills and I ventured out to Queens. And to get to the museum, we had to walk. Walk through a really incredible park, Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Really incredible. Old World’s Fairgrounds incredible. A Parisian Style park, though a bit neglected. Even when we were done exploring the museum, we were not done with the park. We kept going. Through police tape. Across the highway. TO the concession stand on the water – where there was no one to take our money. And once some did come, he only spoke Spanish. My Spanish was good enough for us to communicate and place an order, but then he didn’t have keys to the cash register. No change. He refused my money and waited for back up.
