February break we spent looking at college. April break was no different.
On the first day of April break, Rob, Camille, Chloe, and I flew out to Washington State to visit colleges in Washington, Oregon, and California. In our first pass, Camille had identified a cluster of schools near Seattle and Portland as possibilities, most especially Reed.
In Washington, we did “drive-thrus” at Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, and Evergreen State. None of these had seemed like a good match for Camille, but we figured that we were in the neighborhood, so we’d see.
The one school in Washington that had been a bit of a match was University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Camille had a tour and information session there as we headed out of Seattle towards Portland. While it met some of her criteria, the school was just not the fit that Camille was hoping it might be.
