Today is National Chocolate Eclair Day and National Onion Rings Day.
This week is quite miserable. Between work, being sick, and drudgery, I’m not having any fun at all. I managed to get up around 6 this morning to get started on my day. Rob took stuff to the storage unit and the dog to see his “friends” since the cleaners were coming. I then took Chloe to ballet. I worked all morning, finally caught up on tasks and hours (hooray)! In the afternoon, I worked on the “summer cleaning”; I managed to clean baseboards, wash linens, declutter one closet, and organize baskets in the master bedroom, but I just couldn’t do the big closet. I ran out of energy. I worked a little more, then went to get Chloe. Who was panicking about her dance schedule in the fall, so we ran over to the Church Street office, where nothing was decided. Then off to Pets Playhouse for the pup, Chaos Kroger for gas, Baby Kroger for groceries, and the flute for Chloe. I unpacked all the stuff, then got back to work. Rob picked up Chloe, I made dinner, then Rob and Chloe made some corn fritters and other fried things.
