Today is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day and World Autism Awareness Day.
Up at 2:30am thinking about all that I didn’t do to prepare for this trip… Got the house all ready, myself all ready, then took care of various projects. TSA line at the airport was super long, but moved super-fast. Shoes stayed on, things stayed in bags. We grabbed bagels at Goldbergs before getting on the plane. The car rental place upgraded us to a super large SUV, and we were off. We stopped at Seattle Pacific University then Seattle University then went to find Laurie at Elliott Bay Books.
We had a bit of an adventure figuring out which houseboat was ours, but we finally got in, and it is lovely! We then headed to get food (finally!) at a Turkish restaurant, visited the Fremont Troll, took Laurie to her hotel, went to get groceries at Trader Joes, and checked out the game shop. Back at the house, we all fell asleep quickly.
