I arrived in Paris very late on a Friday night, but managed to get up fairly early on Saturday morning. I was in Paris – there was not a second to waste! As I had no real desire to visit any museums on my own, I decided to walk and enjoy just being there. I had a couple of destinations in mind, but knew that I would not manage all of them. I started off from my hotel at Place d’Italie and headed up Boulevard Vincent Auriol to the Seine. I walked through Saturday markets, by kids in a mini-skating park, and a swimming pool in a boat… Paris!
