Today is Drinking Straw Day and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Birthday and National Chocolate-Covered Cherry Day and Fruitcake Toss Day.
I woke a little early and tackled my list of things. I worked for a little while, then got the family up to work on picking up and packing. Gazoo hid under the bed, so we decided to separate the beds, which was a disaster. I worked in the car for a while. At home, we unpacked and did chores. I ran to Kroger for groceries. Rob took Chloe to Little Shop to get her book. I made tortellini soup for dinner, and then we had a long family meeting to prepare for the busy week ahead. I worked a bit more before going to bed.
