Today is National Strawberry Ice Cream Day.
Camille made it to the final round of the Governor’s Honor Program! We went to Hamilton!
Up early to catch the train. That then did not go anywhere due to “signaling issues” at Atlantic. So we took other (slow) trains. And were 5 minutes late for the tour, despite allocating 45 extra minutes for travel! Thankfully, Bill took Uber and got there on time and was able to come find us. After the tour, we wandered around Columbia and took another (slow) train down to NYU. A quick bite as we walked, then a tour of NYU. From there we wandered around, stopping in at The New School, Forbidden Planet, The Strand, and Flying Tiger. We then had Thai for dinner and took a (fast) train up to Times Square. Our tickets were real! We were in our seats. At Hamilton! And Lin-Manuel Miranda was there as Hamilton! Camille broke into tears at the end; she was so overwhelmed with joy at being there.
