Today is National Cat Day and National Oatmeal Day.
Up early to take care of the usual things. Work was complex because of some server upgrades. I headed out to the gym for my personal training session. I was nervous, but it went well. I walked on the treadmill, then headed home to work more. Chloe and Liz came home from school. I made pumpkin oatmeal muffins and corn and potato chowder for dinner, When Camille got home, I took her to the Book Nook to get her comic books. Chloe went out to a soccer game. Rob stopped at the Fox and bought us tickets to go see “Book of Mormon”. We had family dinner at the table, but after 8pm.
- Finished listening to TED RadioHour: Open Source World while on the treadmill (22 mins at 2.6 mph at 2.0 incline) after my trainer workout.
- Made Oatmeal Pumpkin Muffins for National Oatmeal Day.
- Read some of The Rocks by Peter Nichols
- Read a bit of Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert. Ok, not loving this book either. Very stream-of-consciousness writing.
