Today is Wild Foods Day and Global Champagne Day and National Chocolate Day and International Animation Day.
Up early for the usual morning routine: get the girls up, walk Phelix, clean, work. Mid-morning, I headed out to the gym and talked to the trainer about formulating a plan and routine; he was quite helpful! I walked on the treadmill, then returned home to work a bit more. I’m feeling quite organized at home and at work. More so than I’ve ever been, I think! Chloe and I made spaghetti nests and kale chips for dinner. For a change, all four of us were home for dinner at the table!
- Made Spaghetti and Meatballs Muffin Bites for dinner (substituted griller crumbles for meatballs).
- Listened to the rest of TED RadioHour: The Pursuit Of Happiness and started listening to TED RadioHour: Open Source World while on the treadmill (35 mins at 2.5 mph at 2.0 incline).
- Read some of The Rocks by Peter Nichols
- Read a bit of Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert. I like that she says she doesn’t advocate walking away from your life but making changes to lead to more creativity.
- Started reading Women & Money: Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny by Suze Orman. I definitely need this one!
