When the kids were younger, we always made a point of seeking out great parks while on our travels. We looked for fun and different playgrounds, places for them to explore, and open spaces to balance out being in the confines of cars, museums, hotel rooms. Now that they are a bit older, we don’t do that quite as much, but we still enjoy finding open, outdoor spots to rest while exploring cities.
