But only when I accidentally buy the wrong food….
Gazoo kitty gets a half a can of wet food each day to help her kidneys — she’s really picky about her drinking water and never gets enough, no matter what we do. Her water bowl is on the counter next to the sink so it stays clean, and I rinse and refill it often. We’ve even tried the kitty drinking fountain – she ignores it.
But she lives for 5pm now. That’s when she gets her half-can. (And if you say “Can-day” expect Phelix to come running like a little child would if you had actually said “Candy!” He lives for can-day.)
She has her preferences. Shreds is her favorite, especially the kind with cheese (her nickname is Cheezoo). Sometimes I don’t look closely enough and end up with “pate”. She’ll eat it, but it is not her favorite.
And she eats it with her paws, making a huge mess of the counter.
