Today is National Piña Colada Day and Teddy Bear Picnic Day and National Collector Car Appreciation Day.
Up early to work and take care of things. We then all headed down to breakfast – a nice breakfast at the Hampton Inn! We finally hit the road a bit after 9am and drove. And drove. North Carolina, Virginia (a lot of VA), Pennsylvania, and NJ to NY and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Though we chose to cross the Tappan Zee at the very last minute, Camille was able to get ahold of her friend from White Plains and hang out with her for a few minutes. Then I kept driving. Rob booked us a hotel in MA as we drove through NY. I hate I95, but we drove it almost to the Cape, where we arrived late at our hotel and collapsed into bed.
