Looking at the stack of books I brought with me from home and the books I’ve bought since we arrived reminded me of this post I wrote over five years ago about my changing book habits.
Like then, I’m still reading a mix of books the kids bring home, books on topics that interest me, fiction, and technical. I like the freedom to read what I’m in the mood to read (no longer being a one-book-at-a-time serial reader) and also the freedom to quit reading a book if it really isn’t for me.
I am currently “reading” ten books according to my Goodreads account. Some are books on my Kindle, some are at home, some are library books. And while it will take me some time to finish them all, I’ll get there.
