Our last full day in Galway! I spent 6 hours working and catching up on things after our weekend away. The girls slept in a bit, then played Camille’s new computer game. When the cleaning service arrived, we headed out to do some final shopping. The first stop was Charlie Byrne’s for some books. Then we headed to a souvenir shop, Tiger and Dunnes.
The girls then got ice cream and I picked up eclairs at Gourmet Tart. At home, we unpacked all our new toys and souvenirs and relaxed for a while. We also started to work on packing up for our trip home.
Rob, Camille and I took the car out to the car wash because it was filthy after 3 weeks of traveling. The first two were closed, but we finally found one that worked – the car looks much better now! When we got home, we went out to find Rob’s co-workers, but there was no room for us at the restaurant, so we went back home. Being nervous about the big day of travel ahead, I tried to go to bed early. Rob and Chloe went out for a short bit to try again to hang out with the co-workers.
