Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day and National Truffle Day and National Homebrew Day and Free Comic Book Day.
I got up early to be at the police department at 7am for roll call. Steve drove me over to Oakhurst as our assigned corners were two streets apart. The race was short and sweet, and I was home before 9am. Camille had already left for her APUSH practice test at the high school. I worked on home stuff and work until 1pm. Rob got Chloe from her sleepover, returned her sax, bought her boots and picked up Moe’s. Camille came home and had lunch, then Rob took her to L5P and Chloe to Old Navy. When Camille got home, I took her to Book Nook. I walked over to my second volunteer shift (9-11pm) at a barricade on Barry Street – very boring.
