Traveling has been on the back burner for some time now. I haven’t been out of town since January, when we went to High Falls State Park. In the past, there have been months when we would only be home for a handful of days.
But those days are behind us. And I’ve run out of travels to post about for my “Photo Friday” series. While it makes me sad to have curtailed my travels, I know that the girls need their time at home. They have activities, friends, and school events that keep them local.
I’ve worked to find things to keep me happy at home — but now those activities add to the difficulties of traveling. We have some big trips coming up this summer, and I hope that we will all enjoy them, no matter the complicated logistics.
And I know that one day I’ll get back to my vagabond ways.
