Today is Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day.
No rain this morning, so Phelix and I hopped in the car early and went for a quick hike at Arabia. Thankfully, I checked traffic before heading home and managed to avoid the stopped traffic on the highway.
Made scalloped potatoes and kale (farm food) chips for dinner. One of the potatoes was a sweet potato though it was white! That made for an interesting taste.
I went to the Downtown Decatur Neighborhood Association meeting, but the SIM card in my phone died, so I ran home to get my wallet and then over to AT&T, thinking they closed at 8 (but they closed at 9, whew). A new SIM card — hope it works and I don’t have to get a new phone!
While I was running all around the square, a protest against a recent shooting by an officer was going on – people sitting in the street and blocking traffic.
