Today is National Almond Day … I celebrated by eating my daily serving of almonds.
First day of “winter break”. Both girls had friends over while I tried to get my work done. Chloe, Anna and I took Chloe’s flute over to King Instrument Repair as its springs and screws are loose once again.
I read the latest issue of Time Magazine. In further support what I’ve been learning, one of the articles on “Health” was on meditation as a worthy addition to proper diet and exercise.
In the evening, we made shepherd’s pie using the last of the farm sweet potatoes and a “collards and roasted beet” side dish. I’m almost keeping up with our farm box…just a few strawberries and some lettuce left.
