While planning our Thanksgiving week in New York City, I thought it might be fun for the girls to get a chance to skate at Rockefeller Center. The idea of standing in a line to do so was not attractive to me, so instead I signed us up for the Perfect Start. The pakcage included the first session of skating and then a big breakfast at the restaurant at the rink. The downside: the cost and the early morning.
The morning of our skate it was drizzling. Not a great start. But we laced up anyway and were the only ones on the ice for a while! Camille and I started to get foot pain quickly – the skates lacked any sort of arch support. Rob and Chloe continued to skate for a while.
Breakfast at the restaurant was lovely – far more food than we could eat!
