It is rare that we make a trip to DC and skip the zoo, not even for bad weather. In the past few years, we’ve certainly been there more often than our own zoo here in Atlanta. I think Chloe’s favorite place on earth is the reptile house at the National Zoo; I can’t tell you how many hours we’ve spent in that building! My biggest complaint is that there are not steps for the kids to stand on, and every parent in there is struggling to lift kids up to see the animals.
