Brooklyn! It’s amazing how this place has changed over the past few years. We even hear that it is harder to find a place in Brooklyn than in the UES these days ….
It seems strange to claim this vibrant place as my birthplace, but I guess my parents, as always, were ahead of the times… I had nothing to do with where I was born 🙂
The girls and I have headed up to Brooklyn for a “kindie music pilgrimage” for almost a decade now. They, like me, know “Atlantic-Pacific”. Not this Barclays nonsense.
And then over Thanksgiving this year, we had another wonderful Brooklyn week in Prospect Heights. The girls got to show off their favorite places to Rob. We found new favorites. And once again, I cried about not living in this fabulous place. A subway into NYC. A subway to the beach. Great pizza. What more could anyone want??
Of course, we had to stop by Brooklyn 99. Because it is there. And so were we.
