Looking at photos from trip that we took almost four months ago brings some warmth into this chilly day. This past summer, I wanted to get to the beach at least once, so I took the easy route – returning to the Holiday Inn Resort at Panama City Beach, a place we had visited a few years ago. While it is a big hotel with lots of people, so not a “quiet” beach getaway, we love that we can park the car and stay put for a few days. The people are all on vacation, and there’s no rush, no worries. The beach is beautiful and the crowd at the pool always has fun.
